Terms of service
The plain-language terms every project runs on. Every quote links here, and making your first payment means you accept them.
01Payment
- Starter: paid in full upfront.
- Business: 50% deposit, 50% before launch.
- Custom: 50% deposit, 50% before launch.
- The deposit is non-refundable once design work begins.
- Upfront payments are fully refundable if you cancel before design work begins, and non-refundable after that.
- Your site stays on a private preview link until it is paid in full. It goes live on your domain only after the final payment.
- Quotes are valid for 30 days. Kenyan clients are invoiced in KES; all other clients in USD.
02Content deadline
- Please send all content (text, photos and logo) within 14 days of your first payment.
- If we haven't received your content within 14 days of your first payment, the project is paused and moved to our next available slot. If it's paused for more than 60 days, we may close the project; payments already made aren't refundable once design work has begun.
03Revisions
- Starter includes 1 revision round. Business includes 2 revision rounds. Custom projects include the rounds stated in the quote.
- A revision round is one consolidated list of changes, sent together.
- Extra revision rounds are quoted separately.
04Scope changes
- Anything outside the agreed quote, such as extra pages, new features or new integrations, is quoted separately and only starts once you approve it.
05Ownership
- Once the site is paid in full, you own its design and content.
- Third-party items such as fonts, stock photos, plugins or platforms remain under their own licences.
06Domain & hosting
- Your domain is registered in your name and you're responsible for renewing it. Hosting is included while you're on the Care Plan. Without one, we hand the site over to your hosting provider, or help you set one up, at launch.
07Care Plan cancellation
- The Care Plan is billed monthly and you can cancel at any time with 30 days' notice.
- During the notice period we'll help you move your site and hand over its files, code and access details. We won't take your site down before the notice period ends.
